Problem
A cooking zone switches off
automatically. The operation
indicator on the control panel of the
induction hob shows H/h.
The operation indicator on the
control panel of the induction hob
shows Lo.
The display on the control panel of
the extraction system shows FC.
Some pans make crackling or
clicking noises
The appliance makes a low
humming noise when used on a high
heat setting.
Fan noise coming from the
appliance.

Possible cause
The pan is too small (< 14 cm) or not
suitable for an induction appliance.
The cooking-time limit is reached.

The touch buttons are covered.
There is an empty pan on a cooking
zone and the bottom is overheated.
The child lock is activated.
The carbon filters are worn.
This may be caused by the
construction of the cookware (layers
of different materials vibrating
differently).
This is caused by the technology of
induction cooking.
A cooling fan is built into your
appliance to prevent the electronics
from overheating. It may continue
to run even after the appliance is
turned off.
Possible cause
There is a defect in the mains supply.
The appliance is overheated.
The current of the extraction system driver
board is abnormal.
The air duct of the extraction system is fully
blocked.
Possible solution
Use a pan that is suitable for an
induction appliance. Refer to section
Requirements for pans
.
1. Start the appliance. Refer to
Start cooking
section
.
2. Select a cooking zone. Refer to
Start cooking
section
.
Remove the blockage.
Remove the pan from the cooking
zone.
Deactivate the child lock. Refer to
Locking and unlocking the
section
appliance
.
1. Replace the carbon filters. Refer
to the instructions supplied with
the carbon filters.
2. Reset the alarm. Refer to
Resetting the saturation
section

.
This is normal for cookware and
does not indicate a fault. Make sure
to use good cookware suitable for an
induction appliance.
This is normal, but the noise should
quiet down or disappear completely
when you lower the power level.
This is normal and needs no action.
Do not disconnect the power at the
wall socket while the fan is running.
Possible solution
Do a check on the voltage of the
mains supply.
Let the appliance cool down before
restarting it.
Touch the on/off button to restart the
unit.
Check the extraction system for
foreign objects and restart the
extraction system.
