Setting the extraction system to automatic synchronisation
When the extraction system is set to automatic synchronisation, it synchronises the speed inaccordance with the
respective power level for the cooking zone. Depending on how many cooking zones are in use and to what power
level they are set, the extraction system will automatically will increase or decrease the speed.
1. Make sure that the appliance is on.
2. Touch the slider to set the power level of the cooking zone.
3. Touch the automatic synchronisation button. The display shows "A"
4. The extraction system switches on at a power level that suites the power level of the cooking zone.
Stopping the extraction system
1. Touch and hold the button of the extraction system for 3 seconds to switch off the extraction system or short
press the button until the setting is "0".
USING THE BOOSTER MODE
The booster mode provides extra power to a cooking zone and can be activated for a maximum of two cooking zones
at a time.
Note:
The booster mode can be set in any cooking zone.
When using the booster mode, the maximum available power will be divided between two cooking zones,
which work as a pair. This means both cooking zones on the left form a pair and the two cooking zones
on the right form a pair.
If the booster mode is set to the front left cooking zone and you want to set the booster mode for another
cooking zone, you need to choose a cooking zone on the right side.
When the booster mode is set to a cooking zone on the left, than the other cooking zone on the left
cannot be set. Please wait until the power level can be decreased, before setting the other cooking zone
on the left.
Starting the booster mode
1. Touch the booster button B of the cooking zone you want to use, to set the power level to the maximum. The
operation indicator shows the marquee action.
The booster mode works for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the power level returns to it's original setting.
Note: If you use the booster mode while the flexible zone is active, the booster mode works for 5
minutes, before returning to the original setting.
Stopping the booster mode
1. Touch the slider of the cooking zone you want to cancel the booster mode for. The operation indicator shows the
set power level.
USING THE FLEXIBLE ZONES
A flexible zone can be used as one single large zone or as two separate zones. The appliance has two flexible
zones, one on the left and one on the right.
Note:
To ensure an even heat distribution and detection of the pan, the cookware should be correctly placed:
• When the cookware is smaller than 21 cm, place it on the front or the rear side of the flexible zone,
not in the middle.
• When using bigger cookware, place it anywhere within the flexible zone.
Activating a flexible zone
1. Make sure that the appliance is on.
2. Touch the flexible zone button. The front and rear cooking zones are active and the controls for both cookings
zones work simultaneously.
