  • Page 4: Precautions

    AC plug or turn off the system power breaker. This may result in fire or electrical shock. Do not use the power supply other than Aiphone specified. This may result in fire or malfunction. Insert AC plug completely and securely into the outlet.
  • Page 5  If the station is used in areas where there are business-use wireless devices such as a transceiver or mobile phones, it may cause malfunction.  This station is not meant to protect lives or property. Aiphone is not to be held responsible for any and all resulting serious accidents, disaster accidents, or physical damage.

    Door station Item Description Camera Microphone Do not block the microphone with stickers or tape. Otherwise, communication may not be possible. Speaker hole White light LED The white light LED is always lit while the power is on. When the door station detects dark conditions, the light automatically brightens.

    Setting the date and time (JV-1MD only) When the station is powered up for the first time, set the current date and time. This function may not be available depending on the installation facilities. The date and time is used for the recording date and time.

    When a call is received from the door station, the ringtone sounds and the video at the door station is displayed.     Recording (JV-1MD only) Recording a still image (JV-1MD only) The station automatically records a still image at the door station after receiving a call.  This function may not be available depending on the installation facilities.  is shown while an image is recording.

    Deleting a recorded image (JV-1MD only) This function is not available if the station does not have a recording function. Select in the setting menu. Deleted images cannot be recovered.     Viewing a recorded image (JV-1MD only) (P.14) Problem: The notification LED flashes fast. Cause: JV-1MD: A short circuit is detected in the door station wiring or the expansion monitor station wiring. JV-1FD: A short circuit is detected in the door station wiring.

     Do not spray the disinfectant directly onto the station. This may result in malfunction. Loosen the special screw with the included special screwdriver [A], and remove the front panel [B].
  • Page 21 Remove the nameplate cover [D]. ATTENTION  Do not put a sticker over the nameplate cover. Otherwise the LED illumination for the nighttime is decreased.  Do not remove the packing. If the packing is not installed properly, water may enter the nameplate cover. Gently wipe the inside of the nameplate cover using a soft, dry cloth.
