  • Page 10 MAINTENANCE Verify Ramp Function Check that the ramp can be fully deployed and stowed when operated as specified in the operator’s manual. Full deploy and full stow are each indicated by the transition flap (item 24 - page 41A/42A) dropping into contact with the top surface of the ramp platform. Ramp operation should not require excessive force or speed. If full stow or full deploy cannot be achieved, consult the trou- bleshooting section of this service manual.

  • Page 12 MAINTENANCE Many infloor ramp components are accessible only by removing the ramp cover. Unless a problem with an infloor ramp has occurred, or the ramp system is being exposed to abnor- mally severe service conditions, removal of the ramp cover for routine inspection and clean- ing procedures is not recommended. For routine inspection and maintenance procedures see the “Interior Cover Not Removed” section of this service manual. IMPORTANT: The linear guide rail and carriage are attached to the underside of the ramp cover.
