6. FOCUS OFFSET ADJUSTMENT (with jitter meter)
(1) Connect the jitter meter to TP1
(RF) and TP1 (GND), set the input selection switch of jitter meter to
position of "x1".
(2) Place test disc on the turntable.
(3) Put unit into play mode.
(4) Adjust VR802 so that the jitter meter reading is minimum.

7. FOCUS GAIN ADJUSTMENT
(with jig)
(1) Connect CN808 from gain adjustment jig to CP808 on the CD PC. board pin to pin.
(2) Connect audio frequency oscillator to A.F. OSC terminal and GND on the gain adjustment jig.
Set the audio frequency oscillator output to 600HZz, 4 Vems.

(8) Connect oscilloscope to CH1, CH2 and GND on the main P.C. board.

Insert test disc and put unit into play mode on track.

Set switch SW2 on the gain adjustment jig to the position of "F".

Set switch SW1 on.

Adjust VR803 so that the waveform on the oscilloscope becomes like below.
