4.3.2 Installation on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
The Ethernet installation is described in document [7].
To install the FL3X Interface-PMC device driver and dynamic link library, please follow the steps below.
When a FlexCard installation exists and a FlexCard installation with a higher version number is started, the
installation is updated. When a FlexCard installation exists and a FlexCard installation with a lower version
number is started, an error is displayed and the installation is not possible.
Step 1
Insert the FL3X Interface-PMC hardware in the
PC. Switch the power on and boot your
computer. Windows may show this dialog.
As the device driver will not be installed using
the "Device Software Installation", click on
the "Close" button to abort the wizard.
Step 2
To start the installation, double click the
FlexCard setup. The installation wizard will
start immediately and guide you through the
installation.
Click on the "Next" button.
