Two digit remaining time display. If "Start
delay" is used, the remaining time is displayed
only after the programme has actually started.

{fa programme lasts longer than 99 minutes,
the figure 99 will be displayed until the
remaining time drops below 99 minutes.

The washing machine is fitted with Fuzzy-
Logic-Technology. The appliance adapts
optimally to the current conditions in such a
way as to optimise consumption even with
light loads. The supply water temperature,
supply pressure, water level and load quantity
DOOR LOCK
When you start the programme the door is
automatically locked until the programme terminates.
"Door free" indicator switches off.
Exception: When running the cotton and easy
care/synthetics programmes (without prewash)
the door can be opened for adding further laundry
during the first 15 minutes. If "Short/Rapid wash"
has been selected, however, this is not possible.
If the programme selector is set to "0" or the
power supply is cut off, the door unlocks
automatically after about 2 minutes.
PROGRAMME RESELECTION
a. CONTINUING WITH
A NEW PROGRAMME.
1. Select the new programme.
2. The indicator above the "Start'-button
flashes. Hold down the "Start"-button for
about 1 second.
The new programme continues with the same
step at which the previous programme was
interrupted.
b. CANCELLING THE CURRENT PROGRAMME
AND RESTARTING WITH A NEW ONE
Do not put more detergent into the machine
for the new programme, since no water is
drained when a programme is cancelled.
1. Hold down the "Start" button for 5
seconds, or until the programme control
audibly restarts and the remaining time
indicator displays "00".
2. Wait until the programme sequence
indicator has returned to its initial
(leftmost) position.

INTERRUPTING THE PROGRAMME
are used as parameters in this calculation.
These factors all influence the programme time.
The remaining time indication is checked and
displayed during certain programme steps.
For this reason the remaining time will not be
displayed in continuous steps.
PROGRAMME SEQUENCE INDICATOR
Indicates the current programme step.
The indicator moves from left to right after the
programme start through "wash", "rinse" and
"spin". At the end of the programme the indicator
returns to its initial position on the left side.

END
1. Programme end is indicated by the fact that

the "door free" indicator lights up
e
the programme sequence indicator is no
longer visible

the remaining time indicator is displaying "00"

2. Deselect the selected special options by
pressing the appropriate buttons again.
3. Set the programme selector to "0".
The pilot lamp switches off.
4. Open the door and remove the load.
5. Turn off the tap(s).
Note: Leave the door ajar so that the drum can dry.

To interrupt a programme for a certain time and
resume it later:

2. After the desired time, reselect the programme.
3. Hold down the "Start" button for about 1 second.
TO STOP A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE
END AND DRAIN
To stop a programme before it has finished and
drain the water:
1. Set the programme selector to "Drain".
2. Hold down the "Start" button for about 1 s@cond.
3. The programme sequence indicator returns to
its initial (leftmost) position. The water clrains.
