Water supply fault
-
The "Water stop" and "Start" indicators flash
alternately
or
-
the "Spin speed" and "Water stop" indicators
flash. If the appliance is equipped with the
Start Delay option, the "Start Delay" and
"Remaining time" indicators also flash and
the delay time display shows "E1".
e
Ensure the tap is on and the water mains
pressure is correct.
e
Ensure that the supply hose is not kinked.
e
Clean the mesh filters if necessary (see "Care
and Maintenance / Water hose mesh filters");

The inlet hose is frozen.
Draining fault
-
The "Spin speed" and "Water stop" indicators
are flashing; if the appliance is fitted with the
Start Delay option the delay time display
shows "E3". The water does not drain.
Set the programme selector to "0".
Check whether:
e
the drain hose run is kinked (see "Installation
instructions"),
The pump/ filter are blocked (see "Removing
the filter").
IMPORTANT: Allow the water to cool before
draining the appliance.

The inlet hose is frozen.
e
"Rinse Hold" has been selected.
Now reselect the desired programme and press
the "Start" button. The programme will continue.
Before contacting After-Sales Service:
1. try to remedy the problem yourself (see
"Automatic safety functions / faults").
2. Restart the programme to check whether the
problem has solved itself.
3. If the machine continues to function
incorrectly, call After Sales Service
Specify:
¢
The nature of the problem.
e
The exact model of the appliance.
e
The service code (number after the word
SERVICE).

Electrical component fault
-
The "Spin speed " indicator is flashing. If the
appliance is fitted with the Start Delay option
the "Start Delay" and "Remaining Time"
indicators also flash and the delay time display
is showing "E4, E5, E6, E7, E8 or E9".
Press the "Start" button again. The programme
will continue.
If this fault indication recurs, contact After Sales
Service (specify the fault, see "After Sales Service").
"Water stop" fault (depends on model)

The "Spin speed" indicator is flashing and the
"Water stop" indicator is on. If the appliance is
fitted with the Start Delay option the "Start
Delay" and "Remaining Time" indicators flash
and the delay time display is showing "E2".
e
Close the tap and unplug the appliance.
e
The Water stop can be released by
a) too much foam
b) a leak in the water hose or appliance.

Tilt the appliance forwards and let the water
drain out.
Then:
e
Plug the appliance back in,
e
Turn on the tap (if the machine immediately
fills with water before being switched on, there
is a malfunction: turn off the tap and contact
After Sales Service),
°
Press the "Start" button again (do not fill with
detergent).
The programme will continue.
If the fault recurs, carry out the above steps again
and contact After Sales Service (specify the fault,
see "After Sales Service").

The After Sales Service sticker is on the
inside of the door.
e
Your full address.
e
Your telephone number and area code.
After Sales Service phone numbers and
addresses are given on the guaranttee card.
Alternatively, consult the dealer whére you
purchased the appliance.
