Listening to a source component

VOLUME CONTROL
INPUT SELECTOR
Use the input selector (INPUT SELECTOR (AUDIO, VIDEO)
to select the source you want to listen to.
The input sources change as shown below:

Adjusting the tone
Ifa source that is not Dolby Digital is selected, you can adjust the sound
Quality when the receiver Is in the stereo mode.
@ Press the SOUND key to select the tone mode to be adjusted.
BASS: Select this to adjust the low frequency range.
(Press the SOUND key once.)
TREB:
Select this to adjust the high frequency range.
(Press the SOUND key twice.)

© Use the MULT! CONTROL (TUNING/SKIP) to adjust the sound
quality.
* Tne bass and trepie levels are adjustable from -10 to +10in 2 step
increments.
*The adjustment ttem is displayed for approximately eight sec-
onds.
» If you used the remote control to perform the above setting, press
the VIDEO key at this point to turn off the remote control's own
adjustment mode. In this case. the input source 15 not switched.

* Tnis key does not function when the receiver is in tne sound quality
or ambience effects adjustment mode
Switching back to the previous setting
Press the BASS BOOST key again.
