UNPACKING AND CLEANING
Carefully unpack the machine and all loose items from the shipping container(s). Remove the rust-preventative oil
from unpainted surfaces using a soft cloth moistened with mineral spirits, paint thinner or denatured alcohol.
Do not use highly volatile solvents such as gasoline, naphtha, acetone or lacquer thinner for
cleaning your machine. After cleaning, cover the unpainted surfaces with a good quality household
paste wax.
To reduce the risk of injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from power source before installing
and removing accessories, before adjusting or when making repairs. An accidental start-up can
cause injury.
TOOLS REQUIRED
5/32 " Hex Wrench (supplied)
3/16 " Hex Wrench (supplied)
Rail Alignment Gauge (supplied)
Standard Screwdriver (not supplied)
Phillips Screwdriver (not supplied)
Adjustable Wrench (not supplied)
¼" drill and drill bit (not supplied)
INSTALL FRONT GUIDE RAIL
1. With the left edge of the front
guide rail near the edge of the
left extension wing, (see Fig. 3)
align the two holes in the table,
set approximately eight inches
on either side of the blade,
with the holes (A) in the front
guide rail.
2. Secure with the 5/16-18 flat
head screw, washers and nut.
Finger tighten only.
3. Ensure the front guide rail is
parallel to the cast iron table
top by using the rail alignment
g a u g e ( B ) t o c h e c k t h e
distance from the front guide
rail to the table at both sides of
the saw table.
4. Attach remaining screws
through the holes in the front
guide rail and extension wings
using washers and nuts as
needed. Ensure the extension
wings are level with the cast
iron table.
5. Tighten all hardware securing
the front guide rail to the table.

ASSEMBLY TIME ESTIMATE
This unit will take approximately 1 hour to
1-1/2 hours to assemble.

NOTE: The front and rear guide rails of the 36-T50 T3 have additional
holes (A) (Fig. 5) in the extension end that are used to attach an
extension table. If you plan to install an extension table to your table
saw, install it before attaching the guide tube. Based on your saw
model some holes in the front and rear guide rails may not be used.
