VOCAL CANCEL (A-P710 ONLY)
* When using an MPX source (a source which has
the instrumental accompaniment on the left chan-
nel and the vocal track on the right channel):
Rotate the SOUND JOG control until the display
is as shown in the accompanying diagram.
' This display indicates the position where the vo-
cal element is reduced as much as possible; it is
not effective with normal stereo sources.
For microphone mixing recording:
By performing recording on deck Il, you can record the
results of your microphone mixing. (When playing back
the recorded tape, set the VOCAL CANCEL to OFF.) Note,
however, that microphone mixing recording cannot be
performed when TAPE has been selected in step 3.
@ If 'howling' (microphone feedback). occurs:
During use of the microphone, if a high-pitched howl-
ing sound becomes coming from the speakers, do one
of the following:
@ Quickly set the microphone level to MIN.
@ Remove the microphone as far as possible from the
speakers.
@) Lower the sound volume.
@ The VOCAL CANCEL button can also be used with
stereo FM radio broadcasts.
@ If the VOCAL CANCEL button is pressed when the
power is OFF, the demonstration mode will be selected
and power will be turned ON.
In the demonstration mode, the unit demonstrates the
effect of its rich variety of system functions. To can-
cel the demonstration mode, press any of the ampli-
fier section buttons. The unit will return to normal
mode.
ANNULATION DES VOIX (A-P710 seulement)
* Lors de I'utilisation d'une source MPX (une source
ayant la partie d'accompagnement instrumental sur
le canal gauche et la piste vocale sur le canal
droit):
Tourner la commande SOUND JOG jusqu'a ce que
l'affichage soit comme indiqué dans le diagramme
joint.
Cet affichage indique la position ot la partie vocale
est réduite autant que possible ; il n'est pas effec-
tif avec les sources stéréo normales.
Pour un enregistrement avec mixage de micro :
En effectuant un enregistrement sur la platine Hl, il est pos-
sible d''enregistrer les résultats du mixage du micro. (Lors
de !a reproduction d'une bande enregistrée, régler la tou-
che VOCAL CANCEL sur OFF). Noter toutefois que I'enre-
gistrement du mixage du micro ne peut étre effectué
lorsque TAPE a été sélectionné a |'étape 3.
@ Siun "'hurlement"' (rétroaction de micro) se produit :
Pendant utilisation du micro, procéder comme suit
si un son de hurlement aigu provient des enceintes :
@ Réglier rapidement le niveau de micro sur MIN.
@ Eloigner le micro autant que possible des enceintes.
@ Réduire le volume sonore.
@ Latouche VOCAL CANCEL peut également étre utili-
sée avec les émissions de radio FM.
@ Si la touche VOCAL CANCEL est enfoncée lorsque
l'alimentation est coupée, le mode de démonstration
sera sélectionné et |'unité mise sous tension.
Dans le mode de démonstration, I'unité démontre
l'effet de sa grande variété de fonctions de systéme.
Pour annuler le mode de démonstration, appuyer sur
l'une des touches de la section d'amplificateur. L'unité
retournera dans le mode normal.
