Electric hot plates
4.5.1 Switching on electric plates
Hobs may be fitted with an electric hot plate of varying
diameter. These are controlled by a selector; to switch
them on, turn the knob to the desired position.
Raised indicators make reading and use of the controls easier and clearer: each
knob being connected to its corresponding electric hot plate by a rib. The
adjustment setting corresponds to the elongated part of the knob or to the
marking on it. An indicator light on the front panel signals that the hot plates has
been switched on.
4.5.2 How to use the electric plates
Hot plates offer the benefit of ultra-rapid cooking.
For illustrative purposes only, an adjustment table is shown.
