LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT
Electrical Shock Hazard
Before replacing a burned-out light bulb, turn the
master power switch to 0 (OFF), unplug the
refrigerator, or turn off power at the circuit breaker
or fuse box.
SHELF AND DRAWER
REMOVAL
Before cleaning the
refrigerator, flip the
grille panel up and set
the power switch to the
0 (OFF) posiition.
There are two light shields in the refrigerator
compartment
(one at the top, and one in the middle
of the compartment),
each containing two 40 watt
appliance bulbs.
There is also a light shield in the freezer compartment
containing two 40 watt appliance bulbs.
If a bulb burns out, it is best to replace both bulbs in the
light shield at the same time with an appliance bulb of the
same wattage.
To access the bulbs inside the top refrigerator light shield,
pull down on the latch at the back of the light shield to
release it.
To access the bulbs inside the middle refrigerator light
shield, push up on the bottom of the light shield and pull
straight out.
To access the freezer light bulbs, push up on the bottom
of the light shield and pull straight out.
To remove the
veggie/fruit drawer(s)
for cleaning, pull
forward while lifting
up slightly.

To remove the
veggie/fruit drawer
lid, tilt the lid up at the
front and pull it forward
and out of the
refrigerator. Remove
the middle glass after
removing the
veggie/fruit drawer.
To remove the dairy
compartment,
flip up the dairy
compartment cover and remove it
while pushing back. Hold the dairy
compartment with both hands
and lift it up and out of the door.
To remove the freezer/refrigerator
door bins, hold
with both hands and lift up and out of the door.
To remove the
refrigerator
compartment/
freezer compartment
shelves, tilt the shelf
up at front, then lift it
up and out of the tracks
on the rear wall of the
refrigerator or freezer
compartment.
