CONNECT BATTERY

1. Before starting to charge, check the battery voltage
and type with the information provided by the
charger (see next chapter: Charging modes and
commissioning).
2. Attach the red charging clamp (positive) to the
positive terminal of the battery (+, P, Pos).
3. Then attach the black charging clamp (negative) to
the battery's negative terminal (-, N, Neg).
4. After the tongs are connected to the battery, connect
the mains cable to a suitable socket.
5. Attach the red charging clamp (positive) to the
positive terminal of the battery (+, P, Pos).
Before commissioning, check that the
charger's mains voltage and frequency (220-
240V 50Hz) indicated on the rating plate
match the mains data. Always fix the clamps
first before connecting the unit to the mains.

CHARGING MODES AND COMMISSIONING
The charger has 3 charging modes. Do not operate the
charger until you have checked which charging mode is
suitable for your battery.
1. The unit automatically switches to standby mode
when you connect the charger to the mains. In
standby mode, the charger does not charge and the
power supply to the battery is interrupted.
2. Press the mode button to return to normal mode. The
charger checks the battery voltage and automatically
detects whether a 6V or 12V battery is connected.
The charging process starts automatically.
3. Press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds, switch
to 12.8V Lithium mode.
