CONNECTING THE BATTERY

1. Before charging, check the battery voltage and type
with the information provided by the charger (see next
chapter: Charging modes and operating instructions).
2. Attach the red clamps (positive) to the positive pole of
the battery (+, P, Pos).
3. Then attach the black clamps (negative) to the negative
pole of the battery (-, N, Neg).
4. After the clamps are connected to the battery, connect
the mains cable to a suitable socket.
5. After charging is completed, perform the operation in
reverse order. First remove the mains cable from the
power supply, then the black clamps (negative) and then
the red clamps (positive).
Before starting up, check that the mains voltage
and frequency of the charger (220-240V 50Hz)
indicated on the nameplate correspond to the
mains supply data. Always fix the pliers first
before connecting the unit to the mains.
CHARGING MODES AND OPERATING
INSTRUCTION
The charger has 8 charging modes. Do not operate the
charger until you have checked the appropriate charging
mode for your battery.
1. The unit automatically switches to standby mode when
you connect the charger to the mains supply. In standby
mode the charger does not charge the battery and the
power supply to the battery is interrupted.
2. Press the Mode button to enter Normal mode. The
charger checks the battery voltage and automatically
detects whether a 6V or 12V battery is connected. The
charging process starts automatically.
3. Another short press of the mode button allows you to
switch to COLD/AGM mode. Pressing it again allows you
to switch to 12V SMALL mode (only for 12V batteries).
4. Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to switch
to the special charging modes: 12.8V LITHIUM and 12V
RECOVER.
Before selecting a mode, read the following
information to prevent personal injury or damage
to the machine. Incorrect mode selection can
cause explosions.
