20 OPERATION
Icemaker
Before Using the Icemaker
WARNING
• Fill the icemaker or dispenser water tank with
potable water only.
NOTE
• The icemaker produces ice normally once
approximately 48 hours have passed after the
appliance is initially installed.
• If half-frozen ice is put into the ice storage bin, it
will cause the exiting ice cubes to lump together.
It takes about 4 hours at -4 ℉ (-20 ℃) for ice
production.
• If the freezer door is frequently opened, warm
air enters the freezer compartment. It may take
a longer time to freeze ice.
• Be careful not to twist the icemaker with force or
it may break.
• Do not freeze the ice in the ice storage bin. This
could break it and cause appliance damage or
injury.

stay preserved longer if stored in the freezer.
