The labelling of the alarm connector pins on the rear of early serial number RxMux units is "NC" and "CMN". This
Note:
represents the alarm relay pin designations, not its contact's operational state. In these early serial number units the "NC"
and "CMN" connections on the alarm connector would measure as an open-circuit under normal operation (i.e. no alarms)
and a short-circuit (or "closed") when an alarm is present. Later serial number RxMux units had this naming discrepancy
clarified by changing the labelling of the alarm connector pins changed to "NO" and "CMN" to reflect the relay contact's
operational state.
