    R. The MOU accommodates slide-in Fiber Optical Unit (FOU) modules that can support up to four RRUs. RA-2100 provides customer with an option of DIV as required, with which, it performs better in signal coverage and largely enhances the call quality.

    TYPICAL APPLICATIONS 2.2.1 SINGLE FIBER CONFIGURATION Single fiber working is possible for RA-2100 equipment supplied with WDM Unit. The WDM allows optical signals at two different wavelengths to share the same fiber. The following illustrates two applications of single fiber configuration.

This can be achieved by equipping two Dual Channel FOUs as shown in the figure below.

The iris of the eye will not close when viewing a bright light. Consequently, serious damage to the retina of the eye is possible.

The recommended input range of BTS signal is -10~0 dBm. Hence, an appropriate coupler must be used according to input power of the repeater.

Check all packages for external damage; report any external damage to the shipping courier. If there is damage, a shipping agent should be present before unpacking and inspecting the contents because damage caused during transit is the responsibility of the agent.

Any accumulated water on the cable will drip down at the bottom of the loop and will not accumulate at the equipment connectors.

For single phase AC power source, the product must be grounded by connecting the “earth wire” of the power cord to the ground terminal of the AC supply.

    4.4.2 OMT SOFTWARE VERSION OMT software is designed to be backward compatible. To view the OMT software version, select [Help] [About] in the OMT software main window. The current OMT version for RA-2100 is OMTv3.20. DESCRIPTIONS OF PARAMETERS After successful connection of the OMT to the equipment, equipment parameters can be read and/or set.

Users can set alarm threshold according to the specific situation. If the measured value is lower than the threshold lower limit or higher than the threshold upper limit, the appropriate alarm will be generated.

    INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR RA-2100 (MCPA) FAULT MANAGEMENT Fault management involves inspecting and changing the thresholds and managing alarm conditions. Generally, failure is caused due to radio signal (poor radio signal), equipment (module failure) and site (power, over temperature). The alarm is colour-coded to indicate its status and alarm levels. The alarm level is equipment specific. It could be: Alarm, Warning, Error or Critical.

Perform the following procedures for system commissioning.

Maintenance activities should only be carried out by trained personnel. The equipment operation status can be observed remotely through OMT/OMC.
