4, If the camcerderis broughtdirectlyfrom a cold placeto a warm place,moisturemay condenseinsidethe camcorder,
on the surfaceof the tape,or on the lens.In this condition,the tape may stickto the headdrum and be damagedor the unit may net
operatecorrectly.
To preventpossibledamageunderthese circumstances, t he camcerderhas a built-inmoisturesensor.
If there is moistureinside the camcorder,"DEW( [_ )" isdisplayed.
If this happens,noneof the functionsexceptcassetteejectionwill work.
Open the cassettecompartmentand removethe batteryfor at leasttwo heuls
in a warm dry room.

Pleasefollow this procedure when the DEW protection featureis unexpectedlyactivated
and you want to overrideit:
(Pleasemake surethatthe condensationhas disappeared completely.)
1. Takethe batterypack out.
2. Takethe lithiumbatteryout.
