Playing back a Tape
÷ The LCDcontrol in PLAYERmodeis identicalto step 3 of the page26, exceptthe powerswitchmust be setto PLAYERmode.
÷ The speaker is turnedON/OFFbyopening/closing the LCD.
÷ The speakerON/OFFsettingoperateswhenthe LCD is opened.When it is setto OFF,the speakerwon't turn on even after open-
ing the LCD.
MENU
1. Set the powerswitchto PLAYERmode.
2. Press the MENUON/OFFbutton,thenthe MENU listwill appear.
3. Turnthe UP/DOWNdialto SPEAKER.
4. Press ENTER to chooseON or OFE
5. Press the MENUON/OFFbuttonagain to end the SPEAKERsetting.
÷ Speakervolumecan be controlledbyturningthe UP/DOWNdial duringplayback. ]
Note: When the MENUlist is on, volumewill not be changed.
÷ The procedure for usingDSE inPLAYERmode is the same asthe procedure for usingDSE inCAMERAmode,exceptthatthe
power switchmust be setto PLAYERinsteadof CAMERA.Pleasereferto pages40 and41.
Note: The STROBE,NEG., MIRROR,MOSAIC,CINEMAand 16:9(WIDE)effectswill not operatewhen yourcamcorderis in PLAYER
mode.
÷ Pressingthe DSE buttonwill scrollthroughthe availablesettings.
