Fluid Packing Adjustment
2. Remove the seat housing (21) with a
9
mm socket or

If fluid leaks from the fluid needle area, the fluid packings
box wrench.
1. Remove the retaining nut (a), tip guard, (2), air cap
(1) and spray tip (9).
2. Remove the seat housing (21) with a 9 mm socket or
box wrench.
NOTE:
The seat housing (21) must be removed before
adjusting the fluid packings.
3. Remove the barrel as instructed on page 31.
4. Place a 2 mm socket head driver (58). supplied, in
the back of the fluid needle assembly. Push the tool
ings. See Fig 15.

5. Assemble the barrel as instructed on page 32.
6. Install the seat housing, spray tip, air cap, and tip
guard as instructed on page 28.

Remove the trigger screws
(4)
and the trigger (13).

Place a 2 mm socket head driver (58) in the back of
the fluid needle assembly. Push the tool
in
and turn
the needle (28). See Fig 15. Then pull the needle
it counterclockwise about 12 full turns to unthread
assembly out of the gun barrel. See Fig 16.
CAUTION
the needle is completely unthreaded before pulling
To avoid damaging the needle assembly, be sure
it
out of the barrel.

Install the fluid needle assembly into the gun barrel.
Push in on the needle with the 2 mm socket head
driver (58) and tighten the assembly clockwise until
just snug, then 1/2 turn tighter.
7. Install the trigger (13) and tighten the trigger
screws.

Install the seat housing, spray tip, air cap, and tip
guard as instructed on page 28.
