Care and maintenance

Only perform maintenance work if the
mains plug is unplugged and the steam
washer is cold.
Boiler flushing
Rinse the boiler of the steam cleaner after
filling it no more than 10 times.
Remove the plug from the power outlet.
Let the device cool down.
Empty the water container.
Remove the
accessory holder.

Open the maintenance cap. To do this,
place the open end of the extension
tube over the maintenance cap, snap
into the guide and unscrew.
Fill the steam boiler with water and
turn it vigorously. This removes lime
scale residues that have built up on the
bottom of the boiler.

Descaling lime from the boiler
Note
Because the equipment accumulates lime
scale, we recommend descaling it after the
number of water container fillings specified
on the table (TF= container fillings).

An unsuitable descaler or the wrong dose
can cause damage to the equipment.
Use KÄRCHER descaler for descaling.
When using a descaling solution, follow
the dosage instructions on the package.
ATTENTION
The descaling solution can be harsh
on sensitive surfaces, so be careful
when filling and emptying the boiler with
this product.
Apply the
indicated in the instructions.
Fill with the steam boiler solution. Do
not close the steam boiler.
Let the descaling solution work for
8 hours.

Fully drain the solution from the boiler.
If necessary,

Rinse the steam boiler 2 or 3
times with cold water to remove all
solution residues.
Fully drain the water from the boiler.
Dry the power cord compartment.
