Turn
the ON/OFF switch
to OFF.

Engage
the
gun
safety latch.
3. Flip the pressure control
switch
to
OFF.
4.
Disengagethegunsafetylatch.Holdametalpartofthegun
firmly
to the
side of
a grounded metal pail,
and
triggerthe
gun to
relieve pressure.
5.
Engage
the
gun safety latch.
6.
Open the
pressure
drain valve, having
a container
ready to
catch the
drainage.
Leave the valve open until you are
ready to
spray
again.
7.
Disconnect
the spark
plug
cable.
If
you
suspect
that the
spray tip
or hose
is
completely
clogged,
or
that
pressure has not been
fully
relieved after
fol-
lowingthestepsabove,wraparagaroundthetipguardretain-
ing nul
or hose end
coupling
and
VERY SLOWLY
loosen
the
part to relieve pressure gradually, then
loosen completely,
Now
clear
the tip
or
hose.
When
To Flush
1.
New Sprayer. Your new GM.5000 sprayer was factory
tested
in
lightweight oil.which was

with mineral spirits, followed by warm. soapy water,
and then a clean water flush.

6. Startup after storage.

its with the paint to be sprayed.
