    P a g e | 11 4 INSTALLATION 4.1 POSITIONING The adjacent cabinetry and wall materials must be able to withstand a minimum temperature rise of 85°C above the ambient temperature of the room. For the purpose of installation and use, a minimum of 50 mm space shall be preserved around the hole and 55mm from side or back wall Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30 mm.

    P a g e | 15 4.3 CAUTIONS 1. The ceramic cooktop must be installed by qualified licensed personnel or technicians. 2. The ceramic cooktop must not be mounted to cooling equipment, dishwashers and rotary dryers. 3. The ceramic cooktop must be installed in a way that the better heat radiation can be ensured to enhance its reliability.

    P a g e | 16 If the appliance is being connected directly to the mains supply, an omnipolar circuit breaker must be installed with a minimum gap of 3 mm between the contacts. The installer must ensure that the correct electrical connection has been made and that it complies with safety regulations.
