P a g e | 11 4 INSTALLATION 4.1 POSITIONING The adjacent cabinetry and wall materials must be able to withstand a minimum temperature rise of 85°C above the ambient temperature of the room. For the purpose of installation and use, a minimum of 50 mm space shall be preserved around the hole and 55mm from side or back wall Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30 mm.

P a g e | 14 The cooktop might come fitted with the sealing strip attached to the underside of the cooktop. This should not be removed as it will prevent liquid or spillages from penetrating the underside of the cooktop. Note: Do not use a silicon sealant to seal the appliance to the benchtop.

The ceramic cooktop must not be mounted to cooling equipment, dishwashers and rotary dryers. 3. The ceramic cooktop must be installed in a way that the better heat radiation can be ensured to enhance its reliability.

P a g e | 20 TURN ON Select the cooking zone by touching the zone indicator symbol. SELECT TEMPERATURE Use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease heating level, indicated by the LED display. When you have finished cooking, double pressing selected zone indicator will turn it off.
