  • Page 4 Before you start Sketch your application The ECL Comfort controller series is designed for a wide range of heating, hot-water and cooling systems with different configurations and capacities. If your system differs from the diagrams shown in section 10, you may want to make a sketch of the system about to be installed.

    Mounting the ECL Comfort controller For easy access, you should mount the ECL Comfort controller near the system. Select one of the three following methods: • Mounting on a wall • Mounting on a DIN rail • Mounting in a panel Screws and rawlplugs are not supplied.

  • Page 9 Connecting the room panel / remote control The ECA 60 / 61 / 62 / 63 is activated by the setting in line 10 (section 32). The ECA 60 / 61 / 62 / 63 is powered by the system device bus which means that the bus must be active.

    Inserting the ECL Card Understanding the ECL Card The ECL Card contains factory settings for a standard system. If the actual system differs from the standard system, the controller must be adjusted accordingly. After the adjustment, the new settings should be stored on the ECL Card.
