MEASUREMENT

Microwave Output Power
1.1. standard Method
(6) Take both beakers out of the oven, stir the water with
the thermometer,
and note the temperatures, T,' and
T2',in °C.
(7) Calculate the temperature
rise of the water
in each
beaker by:
AT, =T1'-T (°C)
AT, =T2'-T (°C)
(8) Obtain the microwave output power by the following
formula or by using the monograph in Fig. 20.

CAUTION:
1. Heating time should be exactly

seconds.
2. Water load should be measured exatctly to 2 liters.
4. Ambient temperature should be 20 + 1°C.
