MULTI/2CH ANALOG DIRECT
Press MULT1]2CH ANALOG DIRECT to
enjoy the audio source connected to the
MULTI CH IN_}jacks or analog 2 channel
input jacks. Only volume control and the front
speaker balance con be adjusted when set to
2CH ANALOG DIRECT. When set to MULTI
CH DIRECT 2i, you can adjust balance and
level of all the speakers. When this function is
on, the surround effects are turned off.

MULTI CHANNEL DECODING

This indicator lights up when the unit is
decoding signals recorded in a multi channel
format.
SPEAKERS A/B
Press SPEAKERS A/B button to output the
sound from the speakers connected to the
SPEAKERS FRONT terminals.

When you select "SPEAKER OFF", no sound
will be output from your spea_kers and "SP.
OFF' lights up in the displa_y.
MUTING
Press MUTING to mute the sound. The muting
function is canceled when you turn the power
on or turn the MASTER VOLUME clockwise
to turn the volume up. You can also press
MUTING agoin to cancel the muting lhnction.
PHONES
Use to connect hea_dphones.
When the beadphones awe connected, speaker
output is automalically canceled and "SP.
OFF' lights up in the displa_y.
When the beadphones awe connected, selectable
sound fields are HEADPHONE (2CH),
HEADPHONE (DIRECT), HEADPHONE
(MULTI) 3}and HEADPHONE (THEATER)
(page 32).
Note
When "HEADPHONE (MULTI) 3i'' appears in the
display while the headphones a_e connected, only the
fmn_ L/R signals of the multi channels are output
from the headphones.
