Accessory equipment connected to the monitorÕ s analog
or digital outputs must be certified according to the
respective standards, that is, IEC 950 for data-
processing equipment or IEC 601.1 for electromedical
equipment and must comply with the requirements for
medical systems, IEC 601.1.1. If in doubt, contact
NellcorÕ s Technical Services Department or your local
Nellcor representative.
This section contains information to allow the user to provide
serial communications between the N-200 and external digital
devices.
