Installation
Note:
To
install the rear wheel,
reverse
the
removal procedure. Torque the
axle nut to
70-90
N.m
(7.0-9.0
kg-m,
5l-65
ft-lbs).
Use a new cotter
pin for
securing the
axle
nut.
CAUTION:
*
When installing the
wheel,
fit
the brake
disc
between
the
brake
pads carefully.
After
installing the
wheel, apply the brake
several
times and then check
if
the
wheel
rotates freely.
Recheck
the wheel
if
the
brake drags
or
if
the wheel does
not
rotate
freely.
CAUTION:
*
Always
reploce
used
cotter
pins wilh
new
ones-
@
*
If
a
torque
wrench
was
not
used
tor
in-
stallation,
see
your
dealer as soon
as
possible
to
verifu
proper
assembly.
SIDE STAND
Check the rubber pad
for
deterioration
and
wear. Replacc
il
wcar
extends
to
the
wear
line
(l)
as
shown, Check the side stand spr-
ing
for
dantage
and
loss
of
tension, and the
side
stancl
nssembly
for
lreedom
of
move-
ment.
