PRE.RIDB INSPECTION

Pre-ride Inspection
is
not
perform-
ed,
serious damage
or
an
occident may
result.
Inspect
your
motorycle every
day
before
you
start the
engine.
The
items
listed
here
will
only
take
a
few minutes
to
inspect,
and
in
the long run they
can
save
time,
expense,
and
possibly
your life.

oil
level-add
engine
oil
if
re-
quired

Check
for
leaks.

Fuel
level-fill
fuel tank
when
necessary

25). Check
for
leaks.

Coolant
level-add
coolant
if
required.
Check
for

4.
Front
and rear
brakes-check
operation;

make sure there
is
no
brake
fluid
leakage.
Adjust
lree
play
if
necessary

5. Tires-check condition
and
pressure

Drive
chain-check
condition
and
slack
(pages

Adjust
and lubricate
if
necesary.

Throttle-check
for
smooth
opening and
closing
in all
steering
positions.

horn-check

headlight,

signals,
indicators
and
horn function
properly.

proper
function
