ADVICES FOR YOUR WORKOUT
WORKOUT INTENSITY
• Independently from your goal (burn fat or reinforce the cardiovascular system), the
key to reach your desired results is a workout of the appropriate intensity. It is possi-
ble to use your heart rate as guide to find the correct level of intensity. The diagram
below shows the advised heart beats to burn fats and for an aerobic workout.
• To define the correct level of intensity, find your age at the end of the table.
• The numbers listed over the age define the "training zone".
• The lowest number represents the heart beat to burn fat, the central one the heart
beat for aerobic training and the highest number the heart beat for cardiovascular
performance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Keep the appliance always clean and free from dust.
• After each use, to prevent oxidation, it is necessary to dry and clean the appliance
with care to remove any sign of sweat and humidity. Use soft cloths and avoid using
corrosive, abrasive substances or solvents.
PERIODIC CHECKS
• Periodically check the cleaning status of the fly-wheel and of the brake pad, dirt may
cause excessive wear of the pad and damage to the fly-wheel.
• Lubricate the parts of the fly-wheel entering in contact with the brake pad.
• Check tightening of the pedals and of the locking nuts of the cranks.
