Replace the electrodes if there are any questions about their effectiveness.
Check for defective, broken, or disconnected patient cable.

Paper Jams

If the paper jams while printing, verify the paper was inserted correctly. See

49.

SD Card Error

If you see an error message stating that the SD card is not present or cannot be found, or that the
SD Card Cannot Be initialized, do the following:
Verify the SD card is seated firmly.

The SD card will click into place when seated firmly.
Verify the SD card is formatted for FAT or FAT16 file system.

To verify an SD card is formatted for the correct file system, do the following:
a.
Insert the card into an SD card reader attached to a PC.
b.
Copy any files you want to save from the SD card to a folder on the PC.
c.
Using the Windows Format command, specify either FAT or FAT16 for the file system and
format the card.
NOTE:

Copy the files from the folder on the PC to the newly formatted SD card.
NOTE:
If the file system of the SD card is corrupted, you will be prompted to recover the file system by
formatting the SD card. System recovery from corruption of SD card file system will destroy the
ECGs stored on the SD card.
