7. Choose the BT device to connect and follow the on-screen prompt to continue the pairing procedure
and use the BT device.
4.2.5 Turning On/Off LED Indicators
The LED Indicators for Power Status, Battery Status, and RF Communication can be turned on/off from
HotTab menu.
To enable/disable the LED indicators:
1. Open the HotTab by pressing the
application.
2. Tap on the Device ON/OFF button.
3. Check the status color of the Indicators icon:

4. If the indicator is disabled (white), tap on the Indicators icon to enable it (orange).
4.3 Using the Barcode Reader (Optional)
The 1D/2D Barcode Reader is optional for M101EK Tablet PC and is not re-workable by the end user. To
use this feature, please make sure the tablet PC is built-in barcode reader before use, or contact our sales
contact window for more details.
To enable the Barcode Reader:
1.
Open HotTab by pressing
application.
2.
Tap on the Device ON/OFF button.
3.
Check the status color of the Barcode icon.

Open the application where barcode reader will be displaying the scanned barcode.
5.
Trigger the barcode reader by pressing Fn2 function key.
Tap Disconnect button to stop the connection with Barcode Reader.
