7. Fehlersuche und Abhilfe
Jedes Viessmann-Produkt wird unter hohen Qualitäts-
standards gefertigt und vor Auslieferung geprüft. Sollte
es dennoch zu einer Störung kommen, können Sie
anhand der folgenden Punkte eine erste Überprüfung
vornehmen.
Die Waggon-Innenbeleuchtung wird sehr heiß und
schaltet ab.
● Trennen Sie sofort die Verbindung zur Versorgungs-
spannung!
● Mögliche Ursache: Überlastung des Schaltaus-
gangs. Überprüfen Sie die Stromaufnahme.
LEDs lassen sich nicht einschalten.
● Prüfen Sie, ob im Funktionsmapping ungültige Werte
eingetragen sind. Setzen Sie den Decoder in den
Werkszustand zurück.
● Tagbetrieb aktiviert?
LEDs schalten scheinbar willkürlich.
● Sie haben möglicherweise den Zufallsmodus ak-
tiviert, durch den die wechselnden Beleuchtungs-
szenarien aufgerufen werden. Schalten Sie die
entsprechenden CVs zurück auf die Standardwerte
oder setzen Sie den Decoder in den Werkszustand
zurück.
● Möglicherweise werden Funktionsbefehle an die
Decoderadresse gesendet, die eigentlich für einen
Lokdecoder gedacht sind. Ändern Sie die Funk-
tionszuordnungen oder geben Sie der Waggon-
Innenbeleuchtung eine neue Adresse.
Ihre DCC-Zentrale meldet einen Fehler beim Pro-
grammieren.
● Der Decoder kann ohne Zusatzmaßnahmen keine
Rückmeldung in Form einer Stromerhöhung an die
Zentrale senden. Schließen Sie den beiliegenden
Widerstand gemäß Abb. 2 an.

7. Trouble-shooting
All Viessmann products are produced with high quality
standards and are checked before delivery. Should a
fault occur nonwithstanding, you can do a first check
using the following points.
The coach lighting gets very hot and switches off.
● Disconnect power immediately!
● Possible cause: Overload of the switching output.
Check the power input.
LEDs cannot be switched on.
● Check for invalid configurations in the function map-
ping. Reset the decoder to the factory settings.
● Daylight operation activated?
LEDs appear to switch on and off arbitrarily.
● You may have activated the random mode calling up
the various light scenes. Set the appropriate CVs to
the correct (standard) values or reset the decoder
to default values.
● Possibly function commands are transmitted to the
decoder address that are actually intended for a
locomotive decoder. Change the function allocations
or assign a new address to the coach lighting.
Your DCC-central unit reports an error while pro-
gramming the decoder at the programming track.
● The decoder cannot give enough current feedback
to the central unit without additional means. Connect
the enclosed resistor according to fig. 2.
