with an overload protector that disconnects the
power automatically if the fan motor overloads.

See

A When the main plug is connected the light emis-
sion diode indicates a fixed light and an alarm
signal sounds for a short time.
B
The light emitting diode indicates a blinking green
light when the FilterCart Advanced+ has been
connected to power supply (stand by).
When the FilterCart Advanced+ is started, the
C
light emission diode indicates a fixed green
light. The fan is then in operation.
FilterCart Advanced+
D The FilterCart Advanced+ is ready for use when
the light-emitting diode indicates a fixed green
light. Over time, the airflow through the extraction
arm will be reduced due to increased pressure
drop across the filter as it gets dirty. This will
require changing the filter cartridge.
The light emitting diodes indicates a fixed light
E
when the pressure drop has increased. Pre-
warning for changing the filter cartridge.
F
The light-emitting diodes indicate fixed light and
after ~30 s an intermittent alarm signal starts.
Change the filter cartridge. If you want to finish
the work in progress before the filter cartridge is
changed, the alarm signal can be stopped by
pushing the start button once. The alarm signal
activates after ~10 minutes. Pushing twice on
the start button makes the fan stop. As an
alternative, the fan can be stopped with the
switch on the Fume Extractor hood.
The light emitting diode indicates a blinking red
G
light means alarm memory. The FilterCart
Advanced+ has been stopped after the alarm start
(according to above), for example at work shifts.
The filter cartridge has to be changed.
H The light emitting diode indicates a fixed red light
and an intermittent alarm signal starts when the
overload protector has been activated. Examine
the reason and reset the overload protector by
pushing the "Motor Protector Reset" button.
