k. Perform the same procedure with the bolts
[2]–[4] one by one and applying the tight-
ening sequence (f)–(j) as shown for the
bolt [1].
TIP
Do not loosen any other bolt until one bolt is
completely tightened.

l. Put a mark on the corner of the bolt (cylin-
der head) and the cylinder head.
m. Retighten the cylinder head mounting
bolts in the proper tightening sequence.
