9. Important additional information
Seat belt System
To avoid injuries caused by accidental deployment of undeployed airbags
• Do not cut the airbag system shown in the image above.
• Make sure the vehicle ignition switch is turned off, disconnect the negative cable
from the 12V auxiliary battery (located in the engine room) and wait 3 minutes or
longer to allow the system to deactivate.
Failure to follow any of these instructions may result in serious injury or death from
accidental deployment of the airbag system.
Undeployed Airbags
1) Front Seatbelt Pretensioner
2) EFD (Emergency Fastening Device)
3) Rear Seatbelt Pretensioner
