1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing a Sunrise Medical product. You are advised to read this instruction manual and in particular the safety
recommendations and adjustments to make before using the hoist. If you have any questions about usage, maintenance or safety, please
consult an authorised distributor of our products.

Sunrise Medical has obtained certificate ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, which validates the quality of its products at all times. As the
manufacturer, SUNRISE MEDICAL, declares that this product conforms to the Medical Device Regulation (2017/745).
The Sunlift Hoists have the CE mark and meet the following regulations:
• Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745
• UNE-EN ISO 10535:2007, Hoists for the transfer of disabled people. Requirements and tests methods (ISO 10535:2006).
• UNE-EN 12182:2012, Technical aids for disabled people. General requirements and tests methods.
• IEC 60601-1 Medical electrical equipment – Part 1: General requirements for basic safety and essential performance.
• UNE-EN 61000-4-15:2012, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
• Royal Decree 286/2006, of 10th March, for the protection of the health and safety of workers from the risks related to exposure to noise.
