Hints on Working with the Electric Plane

 The quality of the results is determined by the condition of the
planing blades (16), the working speed and the cutting depth.
Deep cutting and high working speed will lead to rather rough
cuts. The best results are achieved with sharp planing blades,
slow speed and a very low cutting depth.
 Guide the planer with even speed and a steady hand. For
best results, take enough breaks during work.
 Take care to work in the direction of the wood fibres; the wood
may be ripped when working across the fibres.
 Always make sure the machine moves parallel to the surface
of the workpiece. Do not move the machine too fast to avoid
jamming it with wood chips.
