Grounding:
IMPORTANT——(PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
Where a standard (115-120 V) two-
prong wall receptacle is encountered, it
is the personal responsibility and
obligation of the consumer to have it
replaced with a properly grounded
three-prong wall receptacle.

Where local codes permit, a TEM-
PORARY CONNECTION may be made
to properly grounded two-prong wall
receptacle by the use of an adapter
which is available at most local
hardware stores. (Figure 2)

When attaching the adapter ground wire to the wall
receptacle, the cover screw does not ground the appliance
