BASS/TREBLE/BALANCE/FADER
Press the BAS/TRE/BAL /FAD control briefly as many times as needed to select
the desired function (See display).
Turn the BAS/TRE/BAL /FAD control to adjust the level.

Independent bass/treble settings
The bass and treble settings are stored independently for the following sound sources:

The FM radio bands

Traffic Announcements / News bulletins / Emergency announcements on FM
(setting only possible during an Announcement),
3.
The AM radio bands (MW, LW and SW*)

Cassette
5
CD* changer (if connected).

Set your own bass and treble preferences while using these sources.
LOUDNESS
If desired you can switch on loudness to increase the high and low notes at low volume
settings.
Press the LOUD knob for at least 2 seconds (until you hear a beep) to switch
loudness on or off.
— The display briefly shows 'LOUD ON' or 'LOUD OFF'.
* only for certain versions.
