User Guide NPUTS ESCRIPTION Microphone • Phantom Power connected balanced, dynamic microphone is not affected by the presence of phantom power nor will it draw any current. However, it is good practice to turn phantom power off when not needed. Poor or incorrectly wired microphone cable can cause audible artifacts in microphone signals.
The Windows Volume (controlled with the “speaker” icon in the system tray) and the Mac Volume control do not affect the level of the computer’s output audio before it reaches the USBPre 2. These options are not available when the USBPre-2 is connected to a computer as an audio interface.
