(9) Trim Zero Set

Set the trim full down position to correct the trim sensor.
To use the trim support function, the Trim Zero Set setting is
required.
If you reset Trim Zero Set, then reset Tilt Limit Set (P.16)
and Trim Limit Set (P.18) also.
• Under the following conditions, Trim Zero Set is grayed out
and cannot be configured.
– When the engine is running
– When the trim tilt angle sensor is defective
– When the outboard motor angle is not at the full down
position
– When DLC (dealer's tool) is connected
1. Press the POWER TRIM/TILT SWITCH to lower the outboard
motor to the trim full down position.
2. Use the [ ∧ ] or [ ∨ ] button to select BOAT SET and press the
[ENTER] button.
3. Use the [ ∧ ] or [ ∨ ] button to select Tilt/Trim Preset and
press the [ENTER] button.
4. Use the [ ∧ ] or [ ∨ ] button to select Trim Zero Set and press
the [ENTER] button.
5. Make sure that the outboard motor is lowered to the trim
full down position and press the [ENTER] button.
• When the Trim Zero Set setting is successfully completed,
the COMPLETE pop-up window appears.
• If the Trim Zero Set setting is not completed, the FAILED
pop-up window appears. Retry setting from step 4.
• When the reset is completed,
Zero Set.
