Important Safety Instructions

This unit has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety
feature. This plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does
not fit completely into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Never use with a power strip unless the plug
can be completely inserted. Do NOT attempt to defeat this feature.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO
PERSONS:
1. For INDOOR USE ONLY.
2. Do NOT touch LEDs.
3. Do NOT remove the protective clear LED lens.

7. Not intended for recessed installation in ceilings or soffits.
8. Do NOT mount over sinks or stoves.
9. Do NOT mount the light to cabinets having a material thickness less
than 1/4 in.

hazardous situation.

REFER TO THEM AT A LATER TIME.

Mounting Instructions

Mark the general area where the fixture will be installed. Locate the mounting keyhole
slots on the back of the fixture. Measure the center-to-center distance to determine the
distance the wood screws need to be installed. Measure and mark the corresponding
placement on the mounting surface. NOTE: Make sure the mounting location is within
5 ft. of an electrical outlet. Verify this before drilling pilot holes into the cabinets.

When finished linking additional fixtures, plug in the power cord to the lead fixture and
then into the wall outlet. Each fixture can be independently operated.
Using a small drill or nail, make two small pilot holes at
the marked locations. Place a grommet over each
wood screw. Drive in the two wood screws until the
grommets contact the bottom of the mounting surface.
Then turn the screws another 1/4 turn (Fig. 1). The
screws must be driven in straight for the fixture to
mount properly.
Position the fixture over the wood screw heads. Slide
the fixture over so the wood screw heads engage the
narrow section of the keyhole slots (Fig. 2). If the fixture
still seems loose, remove the fixture and tighten the
wood screws another 1/4 turn. Once the fixture is
securely mounted, insert the power cord to the fixture
and then plug into the wall outlet.
To install additional lights, unplug the first fixture that
the additional fixtures will be connected to. Repeat
Steps 1-2 for the additional fixtures. NOTE: Make sure
the lights are close enough that the linking cord will
plug in securely (18" MAX.). The linking cord has two
different ends: one input and one output. They are
designed to plug-in one way only (Fig. 3). Overriding
this feature could result in a dangerous situation. Leave
the plug cover on the last fixture, since it will not be
hooked up to another fixture.
