Anti-theft Alarm System
When the ignition switch is pressed, the
u
Honda SMART Key indicator goes off,
and the buzzer sounds. When the
Honda SMART Key indicator light again,
do the next input.
When the Alarm/Answer back button is
u
pressed, the Honda SMART Key LED
comes on. Make sure the LED goes off
before pressing the button again.
If the Alarm/Answer back button is not
u
pressed within 1 minute, this mode will
be cancelled after the Honda SMART Key
indicator starts blinking and buzzer rings
1 time.

select from 3 sensitivity levels.
3 alarm rings: high sensitivity
2 alarm rings: medium sensitivity

sensitivity level is set.

If the Anti-Theft Alarm System Does
Not Operate Properly
If any of the following situations arise, battery

) in the vehicle is discharged or

there is a system problem. Remove the
battery and see your dealer.
• The alarm does not ring.
• The alarm rings but fades out.
• The alarm system does not stop.
