Defrosting

The cooling compartment is defrosted once a day (so that it does not always occur at the same time).
Pre-cooling Defrosting
Phase 1 Phase 2a
Phase 1:
Appliance is pre-cooled for no longer than 30 mins.
Phase 2a:
The compressor is switched off until the temperature sensor for the evaporator has reached:
 5.5°C (De Luxe / De Luxe eco, Perfect / Perfect eco)
 6.0°C (Classic eco, Futura eco)
or the air temperature sensor of the cooling compartment.
 8.0°C to 12°C (Prestige/T/eco/P eco, Noblesse/eco, Cooltronic/eco)

Phase 2b:
If the value given under phase 2a is not reached within 90 minutes, the defrosting element is
switched on so that the freezer compartment does not get too warm.
(Does not apply to Prestige/T/eco/P eco, Noblesse/eco, Cooltronic/eco)
Phase 3:
The appliance switches to normal mode.
