3. Only use sharpened High Strength Steel (HSS) drill bits for

ON/OFF Trigger

1. To switch on the impact drill, press the ON/OFF trigger (9).
Release the trigger to switch it off.
2. The ON/OFF trigger can be locked in the pushed (ON) position
by pressing the lock-on button (5). The lock-on button auto-
matically releases when the ON/OFF trigger is pressed again.

Speed Adjustment Wheel

Depending on the pressure applied on the ON/OFF trigger, the
impact drill operates at a variable rotation speed from 0 to 3000
revolutions per minute. Light trigger pressure results in a low
rotation speed and smooth controlled starting of the drill.
The required rotation speed for drilling depends on the material
being processed. It is best selected by a practical test. Always
use a speed which is high enough to prevent the machine from
stopping due to overload. The maximum speed can be adjusted
with the speed adjustment wheel (8).

Changing the Rotating Direction

The switch for clockwise/counter clockwise operation (7) may
only be operated when the motor is at a complete standstill.
When the ON/OFF trigger (9) is depressed, the rotational
direction switch (7) is blocked.
Clockwise rotation: for drilling and fastening screws
Counter clockwise rotation: for removing screws
