Checking the Belts

Service Interval: Every 100 hours—Check the
mower-deck belt(s).
Check belts for cracks, frayed edges, burn marks,
wear, signs of overheating, or any other damage.
The signs of a worn mower belt are squealing while
the belt is rotating, blades slipping while you are
cutting grass, frayed belt edges, burn marks, and
cracks. Replace the mower belt if you detect any of
these signs.
