Ear Defender Safety
IMPORTANT: For your own protection please read and thoroughly understand all safety instructions before use. Keep these
instructions with the product for future reference. Ensure all people who use this product are fully acquainted with these safety
instructions. The Ear Defenders are for adult use only and do not provide unlimited ear protection.
WARNING: Put the ear defenders on before exposing yourself to noise and wear at all times while exposed to excessive noise
levels. Do not remove until safe to do so.
WARNING: If the recommendations below are not adhered to, the protection afforded by the earmuffs will be severely
impaired.
• Please check that the ear defenders are appropriate for the required level of noise attenuation. Check attenuation level on the
chart below. Inspect ear defenders before use to ensure they are in good condition and are not damaged in any way
• In the absence of exact information on noise levels it is for the user to decide what level of attenuation is required. Take a
cautious approach and remember even low-level repetitive noise can have a health effect
• Spectacle frames and hair between the ear pad and the head may affect the performance of the ear defenders. The fitting of
hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the ear defenders
• The ear defenders are designed for ear protection but are not unbreakable. Do not modify this product. A damaged ear defender
reduces protection and should be replaced immediately
• If the headband breaks in use and the noise source cannot be quickly turned off, carefully stop what you are doing, clamp the
ear pads to your ears with your hands and leave the area as quickly and safely as possible

Erwachsene vorgesehen und liefert keinen uneingeschränkten Schutz der Hörorgane.

• Der Gehörschutz ist zum Schutz der Hörorgane vorgesehen, ist jedoch nicht bruchfest. Dieses Produkt darf unter keinen
Umständen verändert werden. Ein beschädigter Gehörschutz bietet weniger Schutz und sollte unverzüglich ausgewechselt
werden.

Attenuation Values
The single number rating (SNR) gives an end attenuation value across the whole frequency range. If you need specific attenuation
for a frequency range, see the chart below. A general attenuation figure is given below the chart for low, medium and high
frequencies.

Fitting
WARNING: These ear muffs are of 'large size range' . Ear muffs complying with EN352-1 are of 'medium size range' or 'small
size range' or 'large size range' . 'Medium size range' ear muffs will fit the majority of wearers. 'Small size range' or 'large size range'
ear-muffs are designed to fit wearers for whom 'medium size range' ear muffs are not suitable.
• Hold the ear defenders with one cup in each hand and extend headband by pulling and place cups over ears, moving hair away
from the ears

• Adjust the height of cups by sliding up or down the bars on the headband until a comfortable fit is achieved. The headband
should be resting on top of the head to support the ear pieces and prevent slipping

Ajustement
AVERTISSEMENT : ces coussinets sont de « grande taille ». Les coussinets conformes à la norme EN352-1 sont de 'petite taille' ,

Passform einstellen
WARNUNG! Dieser Kapselgehörschutz entspricht einer „großen Größe". Gehörschutz von mittlerer, kleiner oder großer Größe
entspricht der Schutznorm EN352-1. Mittelgroßer Kapselgehörschutz passt den meisten Trägern, während kleine oder große
Ohrenschützer für Träger konzipiert sind, für die mittelgroßer Gehörschutz nicht geeignet ist.
• Halten Sie in jeder Hand jeweils eine Gehörschutzkapsel und setzen Sie diese auf Ihre Ohren, wobei das Kopfband oben über
Ihren Kopf verläuft. Streichen Sie ggf. die Haare von den Ohren, so dass die Kapseln die Ohren vollständig umschließen und
dicht am Kopf abschließen.
