UW INDUCTIEKOOKPLAAT Inleiding Deze kookplaat is ontworpen voor de echte kookliefhebber. Koken op een inductiekookplaat heeft een aantal voordelen. Het is makkelijk, omdat de kookplaat snel reageert en ook op een zeer laag vermogen is in te stellen. Bovendien kunt u dankzij het hoge vermogen gerechten zeer snel aan de kook brengen. -

VEILIGHEID Lees de afzonderlijke veiligheidsinstructies door voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt. Temperatuurbeveiliging Elke kookzone is uitgerust met een sensor. Deze sensor controleert de temperatuur van de bodem van de pan en de secties van de kookplaat om risico op oververhitting te voorkomen wanneer een pan bijvoorbeeld droogkookt. -

GEBRUIK Inductiegeluiden Tikkend geluid • Een licht tikkend geluid wordt veroorzaakt door de vermogensbegrenzer op de voorste en achterste zones. Ook bij lagere instellingen kan een zacht tikkend geluid optreden. Pannen maken geluid • De pan kan geluid maken tijdens het koken. Dit wordt veroorzaakt door de energie die van de kookplaat naar de pan stroomt. -

GEBRUIK Wees voorzichtig met dunne geëmailleerde plaatstalen pannen! Bij hoge instellingen kan het emaille beschadigd raken als de pan te droog is. Bij niveaus met een hoog vermogen kan de bodem van de pan kromtrekken. • Gebruik nooit een pan waarvan de bodem vervormd is. Een holle of bolle bodem kan de werking van de beveiliging tegen oververhitting belemmeren. -

GEBRUIK Pandetectie Als de kookplaat na het instellen van het vermogen geen (ijzerhoudende) pan detecteert, knipperen het symbool voor pandetectie en de geselecteerde vermogensinstelling beurtelings op het display en blijft de kookplaat koud. Indien u niet binnen 1 minuut een (ijzerhoudende) pan op de kookzone plaatst, wordt de kookzone automatisch uitgeschakeld (zie ook het hoofdstuk 'Pannen'). -

ONDERHOUD Reiniging Dagelijkse reiniging • Hoewel overgekookt voedsel niet kan inbranden in het glas, verdient het aanbeveling de kookplaat direct na gebruik schoon te maken. • Voor de dagelijkse reiniging kunt u het best een vochtige doek met een mild reinigingsmiddel gebruiken. -

PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN Algemeen Wanneer u een barst in het glas ziet (hoe klein ook), schakel dan de kookplaat onmiddellijk uit. Haalt de stekker uit het stopcontact en zet de (automatische) zekering(en) in de meterkast uit. Bij een permanente aansluiting zet u de stroomtoevoer op nul. SAFETY Read the separate safety instructions before use. Temperature safety Each cooking zone is equipped with a sensor. This sensor measures the temperature of the base of the pan and the sections of the hob to avoid any risk of overheating, for example, a pan boiling dry. -

Induction noises Ticking sound • A light ticking sound is caused by the capacity limiter on the front and back zones. A soft ticking sound can also occur at lower settings. Be careful with thin enamelled sheet-steel pans! The enamel may become damaged at high settings if the pan is too dry; High power level settings may cause the base of the pan to warp. • Never use pans with a misshapen base. A hollow or rounded base can interfere with the operation of the overheating protection, causing the appliance to become too hot. -
